Acoustic door seals
Due to the nature of sound the door must be sealed top and bottom together with each side. This is because sound will permeate through any space air can. This also means that acoustic seals can also be used as smoke seals! (refer to test evidence or call 01661 830088)
Norseal have put together a range of seals most of which will easily reach 29dB ratings (the minimum requirment) when used with suitable fire doors and indeed offer a higher degree of seal for areas such as music rooms, consulting rooms etc.
